Main products

The present specifications are valid for the floatation feldspar materials intended for use in the glass, electrovacuum, ceramic and electrode industries.

1. Specifications.

1.1 The feldspar materials should meet the requirements of the present specifications. These requirements should not be lower.than the obligatory requirements of the Russian Federal Standard (GOST) 13451-77 “The feldspar and quarts-feldspar materials for glass industry”
1.2 Physical and chemical indices of the feldspar materials for the glass industry should confirm to the norms, indicated in the following table:

Note: mass fraction of calcium oxide (CaO) not more 1% and mass fraction of the sum of calcium and magnesium oxides (CAO+MgO) not more 2,5% may he established by request of the feldspar materials consumers.

 

1.3 The feldspar materials must not contain metallic iron and other mechanical impurities seen with the naked eye.
1.4 The feldspar materials are untoxical, incombustible, unexplosible, undissolvable in water, they do not form toxical compounds in sewage waters in the presence of acid and alkali.

2. Rules of acceptance
2.1. Rules of acceptance are in accordance with GOST 22871-77.

3. Testing procedure
3.1 Sampling and sample preparation for testing are in accordance with GOST 22871-77.
3.2 Methods of testing are indicated in item 1.2.

4. Packaging, transportation and storage.
4.1 The feldspar materials for glass industry may be delivered in graincars, cementcars, mineralcars. The products packed in 1t soft containers with polyethylene insert (big bags) are placed in washed and covered with paper open cars.
4.2. The feldspar materials packed in containers may be transported by all kinds of transport.
4.3 Each shipment of the feldspar material is followed by the document of quality with indications of:
  -   name of the company-producer;
  -   name and grade of the products;
  -   No and issue date of the document;
  -   testing results;
  -   delivery date;
  -   weight of the lot;
  -   No of the lot;
  -   No of the freight car or container;
  -   the present certificates.
4.4 The feldspar material must be stored in indoor storehouse.

Today the KPShS feldspar materials produced by our company are used by Tumen facing materials plant for manufacturing the facing tiles.

The feldspar material KPShS 0.2-11.5 produced in the process of dressing the pegmatoid granites meets the requirements of GOST 23034-78.

The mica concentrates are packed in kraft-paper bags. The marketable lot is composed after sampling and execution of analytical studies. Then the lot is transported by automobiles to the by-the-rail base where it is loaded into the freight cars for dispatching to the consumer.
